Organization Admins and Supervisors are able to create tasks. There are four different types of tasks to choose from.

Task types are ”Course”, ”Exam”, ”Message” and "Open assignment". By using tasks you are able to guide your group’s studies.

To find tasks, click ”My Group” on the upper part of the page and choose ”Tasks”.

Create tasks on the Tasks page. Go to ”Group tasks” tab and click the + icon.

A pop-up window appears. Here you can name the task, eg. Pharmacology exam, group123.

Choose task type by clicking open the drop-down menu and choose ”Exam”

Then choose your wished exam from the Select quiz menu. It is best to start typing the name of the exam you are looking for since not all exams are found directly from the drop-down menu.

You can assign the exam to the whole organization, subgroups or single users.

You may define maximum number of retries users can take or what is the passing rate (%). You can also decide whether you wish to notify the group, or if you choose to create an exam with code. In the latter case a user can take part in the exam only by filling in the code sent to him/her.

You have to define the time frame in which the exam has to be taken. You can choose whether a certificate will be generated after passing of the exam.

Use ”Course” task in case you want your students to complete a course within a certain period of time.

You can assign the task to the whole organization, subgroups or single users.

You have to define the time frame in which the task has to be completed. Select Start date and End date.

Use the ”Message” task if you wish to send a message to a certain subgroup or students.

You can assign the task to the whole organization, subgroups or single users.

You have to define the time frame in which the task has to be completed. Select Start date and End date.

"Open assignment" gives you the chance to create your choosing of open assignment. Name the task and set up the time frame when the assignment should be completed. Then choose the assignee type: whole organization, subgroups or certain users.

You can choose the maximum score and whether the student will get a certificate after completing the task. From "Deliverable type" -menu you can choose if the task should be completed as a text form (define maximum characters for this), or returned as a file.

You can add pictures, links and any type of attachments to the assignment.

If you want to see all completed exams and their results, go to Group tasks page. Change the settings to ”Task ended”.

Follow the progress of the tasks on the Tasks list. In order to get a more detailed report, click ”Results”.
